RAMZY A. RISHARD Senior Consultant

Ramzy A. Rishard is a Sri Lankan national, and joined PKF-The Consulting House in November 2008. He obtained his Civil Engineering Degree from the Imperial College of Science, Technology & Medicine of London in 1993, while becoming an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants of UK in 2000. He also obtained an MBA from the National University of Singapore in 2005.

Ramzy brings over 15 years of experience ranging from engineering, investment banking, corporate planning/strategy and property development.

Before joining PKF-TCH, Ramzy worked in engineering design of commercial and residential buildings, as well as project management. He later moved to investment banking where he was involved in equity research and analysis of various sectors, including city and resort hotels in Sri Lanka and Maldives. He also was involved in corporate finance/mergers and acquisitions. He then joined corporate planning/strategy at one of the largest hotel and property companies in Colombo and was responsible for all financial feasibilities and for aiding strategy formulation for its residential and hotel portfolio, including hotel operator negotiations.

More recently, Ramzy has worked for Sri Lanka’s largest conglomerate - John Keells Holdings - in charge of project development and implementation, taking projects through from detailed financial feasibility to planning and implementation. In particular, he has been involved in the feasibilities and planning for two large-scale mixed developments in downtown Colombo as well as the implementation of two high-rise luxury condominium towers. Ramzy has also been instrumental in driving the group’s overseas expansion plans in Singapore and Malaysia.
